It is a good exercise for me to record the process, too. :D It helps demystify it, and I like hearing about people's processes, too. However, it can have the effect of making me wonder what is wrong with me that I don't "visualize" like other people. As long as I can arrive at a result that pleases me, I guess it is all good. Nevertheless, perhaps the more I practice, the more able I will get at seeing before making.
