yeah, sometimes, "getting it out of your system" does not translate to putting it out there for everyone. :P

From what I understand, the one leak that I filmed was not the only problem with the evacuation pipe. B said they have to change the pipe for the whole building, which I am not sure if that entails one pipe or several. In any case, it is not yet repaired, but they have collected money from everyone to fix the problem. We have been smelling sewage, especially in the lobby area, for a couple of weeks, and now I guess I know why. :-/.

What continues to boggle my mind is that others were aware of the problem, and nothing was done until we protested. The "happy to live with it until it completely collapses" mentality is beyond me on one level, but I guess inertia is a powerful force. And it takes a lot to get people to pull out their pocketbooks unless the need is really dire (true most of the time, even more so in a country in crisis).
