We try to give him more cuddles and talk with him about what he misses. He already knows the neighborhood since we are only 300 yards, maximum, don't the road from our own place. :P

I think it does him good, though, to articulate what he misses and to help him see equivalents here or things that are better without negating his feelings. Little by little, he will come around.
