I can understand your hesitancy to take medication that contains a narcotic. We've all known people who have, innocently enough, became addicted to pain medication. Nevertheless, if you're in terrible pain, it's fine as long as it is for shorter duration. I do hope you are able to find long-term relief with other means. I'm so sorry as I know that chronic pain can devastate day-to-day living.
