Does anyone on my flist use Linux Ubuntu? If so, how do you like it? Are there any drawbacks to it that I should know about?

Actually WINE (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wine_(software)) is a delightfully self-referential acronym for "WINE Is Not an Emulator."

It's supposed to make it easy to run Windows programs in Linux, but I never had much luck getting it fully going. I didn't really take the time to try though...I was under a crunch at work and suddenly needed to be ass-deep in Access all day long, so while my computer technically can dual-boot into either Windows or Ubuntu, I live in Windows these days.

I still miss Ubuntu though.

Ah, that could interest me, then. I'll ask about it when I go in to get the new pc configured.

Thanks again.
