The glazes... I don't do pottery, so I could easily be wrong here. But it occurs to me that making pottery doesn't require the same degree of born talent that drawing or painting does. It's more of a learned process, no? And the learning curves for processes are filled with as many misses as hits. You will learn to do the glaze part correctly if you give it enough time. (Though I do realize that may be an expensive process. 😀)
