Continuing with the spotlight on our friends and neighbors. (You can click on the pic to enlarge it.)

This is Sakina and her daughters, Florine and Faïza, outside their home, which is the rear part of a house they share with MaZelda and Zelda, though I wouldn't classify it as apartments or a duplex, just a house literally 'walled" down the middle to make two rooms. The toilet and shower is in the gray building on the left, and they are facing the kitchen, located in the middle of a communal yard. I believe, though, that the kitchen is only Sakina's as I've seen MaZelda using a hot plate and other utensils outside her front door, and I think MaNaïm, whose home also gives onto the yard, has a kitchen in her house. The photo was taken on the last day of Ramadan, when everyone gets dressed up for the big feast.

Mayotte is definitely a colorful place, and usually, the brighter the better. :-P
