Sliding in under the wire...

I had a pretty productive day today. 2123 words on the short. I think I will be able to get it around 7K. Although it isn't quite finished, I read it to J and he quite enjoyed it. That was a good feeling. And he was able to help me with the French. It is set in my region and so naturally, there is some dialogue in French. Hopefully not too much, but I guess if I post it to the OWW, all my faithful critters will let me know what they think.
