These are some banners that the Mahorais have tied up in front of the city hall of Labattoir. I'll translate them tonight, but I'll type up a a longer commentary on what is going on over here tomorrow. 

This first one says that the development in Mayotte is not for the illegal immigrants to destroy. A noble phrase, but I hardly think illegal immigration is the sole reason for Mayotte's problems.

"The Mahorais and the metropolitains (mainland French) are no longer safe in their own homes"


"We're tired of it! We don't want anymore!" (Illegal immigrants, one would assume)
