Beulah and Beluga

I don't have guardian angles; I have guardian whales. Their names are Beulah and Beluga, and any time I do something scary or that causes me the least bit of worry (like flying or scuba diving), I pray for them to come and escort me. They are as at home in the air as they are in water because they have wings. Tiny wings, granted, because they are just for show.  

Anyhow, I have a soft for whales and that is why, contrary to my normal tendency to keep my views on politics and activism to myself, I'm sharing this link to a petition to stop a mining project in Bristol Bay, home to many different animals, including beluga whales.  Please read and sign it if you feel so inclined.
