Snippet Sunday

Missed last week because I was away from home. I did write while at frigg's house, but I mostly worked on worldbuilding, govermental and calendrical systems. Not very fascinating to anyone but me, I'm sure. :P

Here is a brand new snippet, written...just now. So, yeah, rough and may not even survive. That is the uncertain fate of first drafts, though, n'est-ce pas?
