Snippet Sunday

More handiwork this week. I made myself that pair of lounge* pants I've been wanting, and they are just as warm and comfy was I knew they would be with that thick flannel. I even splurged and made them fancy.  I have some lovely fabric scraps that I was keeping to make something for someone else, like a child, but I thought, "Hey, I can have some pretty stuff, too!  I'm worth it."

In addition, I've been crocheting on the hexagon afghan. I'm enjoying it and not ready to set it aside for something else right now, even though there is a baby thing or two I'd like to make.  No rush, no worries.

* Maybe using "lounge" instead of pajamas will make me feel like less of a slob for staying in PJs all day. Aw, who am I kidding. I don't feel like a slob; I can dress how I want. :P
