Speaking of shiny

Admire, if you will (and even if you won't), my new toy appliance, happily and lovingly bought for me by that fantastic man who agreed to be my husband.  I think this calls for cinnamon rolls.  

What better way to use both new Kitchenaid and oven? Oh yes, cinnamon rolls it shall be. After I take the brisket out of the oven, that is.

*sends wonderful husband off to grocery store for ingredients*

Oh Miqui, a Kitchenaid! How wonderful! I've coveted one of those for years.

I love that they will knead bread. Love making bread, hate the kneading.

Yes, the kneading capacity is exactly why I wanted one. I didn't use to mind kneading dough, but then living in Mayotte where it is too hot to do that sort of thing, and always ending up with limited counter space made it such a hassle to pull out the bready recipes.

But no need to worry about that any more! :D
