Aside from one major slip on Day 1, I resisted the urge to rewrite, even to take notes as I read. The only thing I did was fix the occasional typo or delete some wordiness.

How do I feel about it?

Like I am still too close and too in-the-know to be a good judge.

What needs to be done now?

Tomorrow, I will read the crits I got on the first few chapters and see how to work in pertinent advice.  But I think I'll really have to rely on betas to give me the dish once they read it all the way through. Chapter-by-chapter crits can never top that.
Now off for a walk, I go. I need to get off this couch and MOVE!
