Sooooooo...8 years after setting up this account, I guess LJ has finally pushed me to use it. I'm in over my head with admin stuff right now, but I do sincerely hope I'll be here more often as our move progresses and life takes on some form of normalcy.

Hello my dear! I got your email and will answer soon, but regarding moving your journal over, it's very simple: go here. It's just a matter of typing in your LJ password and hitting go. It's taking a while right now because so many people are doing it, but once it's done, you'll have everything over here that you had over there.
