I don't use different fonts for different POVs, but I will use a special font that somehow captures the feeling I want for the piece. Also, I know folks who use different font colors for various reasons.
I have heard "Open with Change" as an alternative to "Open with a BANG." Which is what seems to be happening in Baxente's chapter opening: he is disrupting status quo and the consequences are painful, so he must have a good reason.
