I think LJ screwed up

Does anyone else ever lose their posts when they try to do spellchecks, etc?  It's happened to me a few times and once or twice I've been able to recover what I wrote.  I still keep coming back and posting, but I don't think that is going to be the case for mana_trini.  He spent almost an hour typing up a very detailed entry and *poof* it dissipated into LJ oblivion.  He has not my patience with such things and has declared he won't be back.  We'll see.

Try downloading a client, like semagic. Trying to update from the webpage itself often results in no update. :(

what exactly is that? Does it take up space? I don't want to put a lot of stuff on my laptop. *feels computer illiterate*

It takes up a little space, but is more stable.

The other option is to compose your entries in word, and tranfer them. And of course don't delete the document until you post successfully.

Yeah, especially since he won't bother to type it up again, I don't think, and it has been about this experiences here. It isn't so much to share with other people, but to remind ourselves...
