Another thing I should have said I learned is that I *can* design a cover! I thought that was one of the scariest things pre-workshop. :P. I am not sure my effort above would make it past the art director at a publishing house, but I think it is a fair starting point for an amateur. It gave me confidence to believe I can at least make a stab at working with someone to improve my vision and exectuion. :D
I want to do a better job documenting the next project because I too love the time lapse. I think of how neat it would be if it were properly framed and lit throughout. But! I shan't put too much pressure on myself about it if it means I do jack diddly squat.
