I used Photoshop 7 and Image Ready. I poked around a bit with tutorials, enough to realize that you have to create the layers in Photoshop and then use IR to animate them. What took me forever was getting the file under 40k for the GIF format.
Do you have a version of Photoshop and Adobe Image Ready? You can find several tutorials on the web that give you the low-down on it, but if you'd like, I can give you some step by step details of what I did.
*lol* I thought it came bundled with Photoshop (that's how I got it), but I wasn't 100% positive. I expect to see an animated icon from you in the near future. :D
"victors keep trying*." Since it was my first one, I didn't think about entering the type *after* resizing the image. It would have been easier to read had I done that. I might look into reworking it now that I understand more.
