Loads of laundry done today: 3
Estimated remaining loads: 8

The office is reorganized at last. Now we have to get the terrace straightened out, and the house will be back to normal. Tropical storm Fame is on its way out, but Gula is building up north of Reunion Island. Hopefully Madagascar will screen us from the worst of it like it usually does.

Last year, we were on high alert for Bondo, but I think Fame has been worse to live through--more wind and rain, and of course the flooding.

8 loads of laundry left to do.... Ouch!

(That reminds me, I still have some laundry left from our holiday - you know, the one we got back from on 8 December. Oops.)

No wonder you've been quiet - I was thinking about you over the weekend, and hoping that the lurgi and the storms hadn't done anything horrible to you. Glad to see that you're about, but sorry to hear it's - well, still horrible.

Laundry? From December? Oh.my.word. I cannot say that I even you (ETA: or ENVY, even :P). :P I did two loads today, but I still have at least 7 to go because one from yesty came out stinky and will have to be rewashed. Joy, oh joy.

On the happy news front, I am feeling better today. Felt almost normal all day until this evening when my energy levels crashed and burned.

Glad you're feeling a bit better - and I hope you got a decent rest after your crash :)

Would you believe me if I told you that I slept like the dead (thanks to the winds dying down and J fixing the tin sheet that was making such a racket) only to wake with a frickin' ear ache?

Aaaargh! Ear-ache is horrible - you have my sympathies.

You're really in the wars at the minute! I hope that the ear-ache clears up, that's it for illnesses and traumas for a long, long time.

Yes, I hope I'm done with all the ick for a long, long time, too, as does poor Julien. He's beginning to feel guilty about asking for a third year here in Mayotte because he thinks it's the climate that doesn't agree with me.

But he couldn't have known that at the time he asked - nor could you.

I hope you're feeling suitably energised for the start of the Six Nations this weekend!

And I hope the weather here doesn't disrupt it all. I'm getting a bit anxious about it, actually.

I don't know if it *is* the climate that is behind all of it, but I do know that it prevents one from resting properly, thereby allowing the body to do recover.

And as for the tourny, I'm so freaking excited. I think something is wrong with me to be so into rugby. :P

Yes - lack of rest is always the hardest thing to compensate for, especially when it's totally out of your control!

Nothing wrong with liking rugby. The best people do, I've heard ;-)
