I would really, realy appreciate it if a kind soul would take a moment to post something cheerful or funny or ahhh/awe-inspiring in the comments.

Please.

Last night towards midnight, the kids and I were bustling about tidying the house. Ben decided that our many teas needed arranging so he set some of them out as part of our Steampunk decor:

I offer you a virtual cup of tea, and if you ever make it over our way, you will surely be offered a real cup of tea. Many herbal varieties are available, and many fine green teas, including some from the Mt. Fuji environs of Japan.

Hope you feel better soon!

Look at the book cover here:

I spent the day yesterday with my mom. Her little tiny pomeranian (think a fist and a half of dog with a nose and legs) (short legs) tried to play with my large afghan hound. bounce, bounce, bounce. runrun. bounce, bounce, bounce. "Mom! Somebody dropped a hairy rubber ball in here!"

YOu want awe? heck, woman, go out and look off the top of one of those hills at the ocean. Is that thing huge or what? I expect you to produce a line of fabulous greeting cards with your ocean and Mayotte pictures one day. ;)

*lol* Cute pic, and hilarious image of the Pomeranian.

I wish I could have checked out the sea today. I fully intended to, but I had a weird case of dizzy spells and didn't trust myself to leave the house. O.O

I think I may have slept in an awkward position or a recent bout of sore-throat/achy-ear maybe have thrown off my equilibrium.

First, you're an amazing person. This is a fact, and I know it because your posts here show me a person with a beautiful way of seeing things, the intelligence to process those things seen, and the desire you have to share those things.

Second, I've never seen a full episode of Dr. Who, but this killed me yesterday:

Now that the solstice is past, all the daylight-sensitive summer veggies are putting out their tasty fruits like whoa!

Hey! I didn't say send me into fits of jealousy! :P You're talking to a veggie-deprived woman here. :D

oops. *g*

But no tomatoes? How terrible! The sheen of sunlight on the skin of a truly vine-ripened tomato is my definition of the color red.

Maybe you could print this and pretend: http://www.flickr.com/photos/pictureinfocus/69792416/

I woke up this morning and found a mushroom growing out of my bathroom wall. Could that be considered funny?
