It wasn't an April Fool's joke, but...

After doing a lot of thinking (and moved by your nice messages), I've decided to stay, but I will no longer be obligated by my wager with frigg to post thrice weekly. For that reason, you'll see less of me around. But I'll still be here.

A lot of "life" stuff hit me at once, and my first instinct was to go hermit. The wager with frigg kept me from being able to do that, so I broke it. In my troubled mind, my breaking the contract equated with my disappearance from LJ; however, what I had in fact told her was that if *she* ever broke the wager I would disappear. (I know that sounds really mean [and I am mean] and unfair, but I had to prove her wrong that I would be *addicted* to LJ).

I'm still not addicted, but I'm staying.

I too am glad you are staying, and I feel that it isn't necessary to force yourself to post thrice weekly. If once a week works for you, great - if once a month is all you can manage while life throws lemons cherries grapes apples - ouch - ok. If you want to post four times one day and no times the next and three times the next day and once the next and then none for three days - ok, ok, you get it, right? :g:
