Dubai and goodbye

The last of the Dubai photos, with a few aerial views thrown in. Soon, I'll do a write up.

Camels anyone? It was amazing to me how open people were to getting their picture taken. Very different from Mayotte.

Take my picture, please The standing gentleman firmly insisted that two pictures was his maximum (He was the one who asked me to take his picture in the first place). Too bad. I wanted to get closer to get a good shot of his very red, dyed beard.   Waiting for work I'm not sure how much these merchandise shifters are paid, but they were one of the more picturesque aspects of Dubai I thought.   The creek by night Our last night in Dubai, crossing the creek to get back to where our hotel was. Thanks to the luminosity of my new fisheye lens, I was able to get a decent photo of the colors, even though it looks a little dark now that I've uploaded it.   Nairobi airport Heading back home. Sad I didn't get to visit Kenya again.   C'est space! I'm in love with the fisheye. What other lens gives you the impression that you are flying high above the Earth?   Back home Petite Terre and the Passe en S. Why do I always get a seat next to the wing?
