If I speak my dreams, will they come true?

 I want to live in Paris again when we move back to mainland France. Three years in Sancerre followed by three in Mayotte have made me hunger for museums, cinemas, and galleries in the way, when I first lived in Paris, I hungered for the country and calm.

But the real estate prices... *wails*

I do not want to rent again. Such a waste of money. So I must make a purchase happen. Must land a CDI (employment contract of undetermined length). Must, must, must.

Contrary critters, aren't we?

When I lived in Paris, I wanted to escape the smog and constant crowds. While they aren't what is drawing me back, I don't give them much thought now. My eyes are fixed on the The Shiny of the City of Light.
