 after a jaunt around the world?

One rests. A lot. Traveling is hard work.

One eats.  Too much?  I don't know, but it sure is good to be back in a country where there is so much variety AND where I have the means to cook my own food.

One learns to knit.  Got to go buy some yarn so I can start an actual project.

One renews one's membership on the OWW. Maybe my brain doesn't want to write, but surely it can handle critting?  I'll be looking for things to review after I get to the friends' projects languishing on my hard drive!

One looks for an abode.  mana_trini  returns to work in about a month, so in a week or so, we'll head up to Sancerre (now that we got the car-buying out of the way) to find another house.  To rent or buy, that is the question.

Ah, the return to normalcy...I can't wait.

I found it was impossible to write when I was engaged in other creative pursuits. Both times I was cooking, I couldn't write a word to save my life.
