Julien and I are now reconnected with the world! Hooray!
We are just about settled in, just the office to finish unpacking and a few paintings to hang before this starts feeling like home.
I don't have the largest flist in the world, but I'm afraid a two-week backlog is a little too much for me to catch up with. That being the case, I kindly ask that each of you tell me something that has happened in your life in the last few weeks so I don't feel so out of touch with everyone. And if you feel that nothing of import has happened, I want to know that, too.
Just consider me nosey. :D But concerned. ;)

Date: 14 May 2010 03:16 pm (UTC)- can't see properly on my left eye
- started writing again
- someone slapped the name of a total stranger as the author on an online article I wrote years ago. I'm now only listed as what looks like a co-author!
- oh and we bought 38 kg of cherolais veal from the neighbour, which is now neatly packed into little bags in our freezer

It sounds like you've earned your time off, though. ;) I hope you enjoy it. Any big plans?

Date: 15 May 2010 09:04 pm (UTC)I'm back too, after a fashion :p
What's happening here? I'm getting back into driving -very gradually. We may be getting a new dog - going to see one next week. Still not writing - meh. Missing Teefa terribly. It's my mum's birthday tomorrow. She would've been 73. I miss her. I'm obsessed with Lurcher Link. And Paul's away tonight - I miss him terribly, too :)
Apart from that - or because of that - life's fine :)

Date: 16 May 2010 11:47 am (UTC)Not that I've been posting much on my regular journal... most of the interesting stuff is happening on the other journal :P Which you seem to have managed to read, so I am honored!
But, today is our Hebrew anniversary. Which means that Hallel's first birthday is in two days. :) He had a superbug ear infection that Moxycillin wouldn't kill and we have to give him one of those wonder drugs for mutant bacteria. The stuff he picks up at the day care freaks me out... :-/ In the midst of all this Eitan developed the worst migraine of his life and was out of commission for like three days. He's better now though, off touring through Jaffa with his tourguiding course.
Life is good? :)

Date: 16 May 2010 08:09 pm (UTC)Poor Hallel. I feel bad for sick people, but sick babies and kiddos really wrench my heart. :(
That is not to say I don't feel for Eitan and his migraine. I have two doozies in my life that I thought were going to kill me, so that wrenches my heart, too. :P
