wayfaringwordhackOk, because I seem to thrive under deadlines, I'm giving myself a series of public ones now:
I will finish Witherwilds by Saturday;
I will set it aside for two weeks;
I will accord myself two weeks to reread, smooth language, and tweak chapter order;
I will send the completed first draft, in all its rough and unperfected glory,* to betas on August 15.
