Speaking of books, and thereby, in a slanted way, authors, I remembered a dream I had last night.

I needed a haircut, and Neil Gaiman was standing there with a pair of scissors, tapping them against one palm much like one might do with a baseball bat.

I ran my hand through my hair, wondering if I trusted him to cut it.

Then I said, "Of course you do, silly; what else does he do besides cut hair? He's a hair stylist, isn't he?" But a "something isn't right here" thought niggled at me all the while.

And then the dream moved on and I have no idea if I came away well-coiffed or not...

See, THAT is why I disagree when someone describes dreams of other people as the most boring topic imaginable! I love it when mind plays these games (well, as long as it does not get too creepy or nightmarish)

I would not tell MY dreams, but I loved it when my then 17 years old daughter had a dream how both her boyfriend and her younger brother were pregnant and all this pregnancy talk BORED her silly in her dream!

I love hearing about people's dreams, and I love sharing them. However, I know not everyone feels the same. :P

That made me laugh out loud! That niggling feeling you had, I've had that in dreams too, notably ones in which I'm married to someone else. In the dream I get this feeling that something's not quite right. ("Why am I married to him [or, sometimes, her]? What could have possessed me? Oh well... I guess, this is how it is...")

In the dream I never quite could recall the key fact that yes indeed, I was married to someone else!

Niel Gaiman's certainly a stylist, that at least is true!

Dreams are odd like that. I always wonder why some are so immersive while others are easier to break out of and accept as dreams while still in said dream.

Niel Gaiman's certainly a stylist, that at least is true!

He's a stylist with a style of his own. :D

I would SO trust Neil Gaiman to cut my hair. If it was awful I'd still be yelling at everyone, NEIL GAIMAN CUT MY HAIR I LOVE IT! ;-)

Loving babykid updates, too!

LOL. That's true. Instant cool factor regardless of the cut. :P
