My first ever video. 18 secs long. Not art. Not high-quality*. But I know a few people who will be happy to see the little Sprout in action, namely her papa, who, sadly, missed these first steps...

* The camera's automatic focus does not work in video mode, and it is impossible to hold a camera in one hand, hold the other hand out to encourage her to walk, AND adjust the focus.

Date: 5 Nov 2011 07:31 pm (UTC)I think upon hearing of Soëlie's progress, Raviv decided it was time to accelerate his, and the last 24 hours he has been walking a lot more; he has perfected the unassisted rise to standing, and he walked all across the floor, complete with turns! Hallel is very pleased with this: "'Avivush walking!"
(I have no idea how Hallel started calling Raviv Ravivush ("oosh" being a common affectionate name add-on in Israel, probably influenced by Russian and Yiddish), because we usually call him Raviv, but now he's got us calling him that too...)

Date: 6 Nov 2011 08:39 am (UTC)I was watching other video footage that we have of her, and I couldn't believe how she's grown. Seeing her everyday, it is hard for me to see the changes until I compare her to how she was at birth or even a few months ago.
