Freeloaders can't be complainers
6 Jan 2012 04:00 pmHere in Albania, J and I mooch off of an unlocked wifi connection--I think it comes from a nearby hotel/internet café. For the past week, service has been very unreliable, hardly allowing me to connect and when I do, only if I'm sitting at the table in the very corner of the dining room.
So, I'm here. Sometimes. I have read my flist, but it is hard to stay connected long enough to comment on everything. Sorry about that.

Date: 12 Jan 2012 02:25 pm (UTC)My husband is on a short-term mission guarding the French embassy here in Tirana, capital of Albania. Because he is renting a small apartment, we let our rental go in Le Teich (where we were in France before coming here), so that my daughter and I could come and stay with J. Because we are only here for two months, we didn't want to go through the hassle of paying for a connection, and there was no need for the first couple of weeks when we were mooching with no difficulty. :P

Date: 12 Jan 2012 03:09 pm (UTC)You have no idea the headache you created for Julien with this comment. He offered to read me my emails over the phone (he has a connection at work). When he started spelling it out, I figured it was a joke, but still. :P
