Our house-hunting expedition was not a flop, per se, but I've come back from it in a funk.

We didn't find anything to buy and probably won't continue to search.  Buying when we come back from overseas--whenever that might be--seems to be the better option for us at this time.

*sigh*

Got to look into rentals now.

I don't mind change and new experiences, but boy howdy, do I detest the in-between times and limbos...

I feel your pain... I am also enduring and detesting the in-between times and limbos! If only people would rent things that did not require so much compromise. We are spoiled, but it is hard not to want everything in a home. Here's hoping for light at the end of this here tunnel! :)
