Donkeys, Day 2

I learned something today.

I do not want to make a 32-page children's book full of collage illustrations. I started out with a plan to do a detailed scene of a little donkey in a field, but the fiddlesomeness of ripping the paper and fitting it and glueing it down just. so. got to me before I even finished with the donkey's head.

Yay! One type of media struck from my list. Unless I suddenly get the urge to fiddle with more recycled paper. :P

Well he's a gorgeous, tactile, I-want-to-pet-him donkey, but yes, I can see this would be WAY time consuming!

It would be less time-consuming if I had fingernails to help me rip those little pieces of paper. :P But yeah, I'm quite pleased with how pet-able he looks. :D
