Snippet Sunday

I haven't been around much, as you know, Bobs; so I've been remiss about posting snippets from my creative life.  And I actually have found time to be creative, snatching moments here and there and losing sleep along the way.  I've been working, off and on, on a sketch inspired* by this:

Any guesses as to what it is? (I'll post a pic of my sketch another time. If I take time to do it now, I'll never post. :P)

Then I made a trial-run top and skirt for Sprout's Easter dress. Necessary since I wasn't using a pattern:

Thankfully I'm able to create stuff, even with a newborn. it is only my writing that seems to suffer; some necessary, writing-related thing in my brain just clicks off when I'm pregnant and/or caring for a baby. :P

LOL. Yes, hair, on the shower wall. The lines really spoke to me. :P

I think the writing might come back sooner than later. I'm getting wee (very wee) niggles of late.

Thanks about the dresses. The only problem with what I make is that I have a hard time trusting the measurements I take and therefore tend to make things too big. :-S

I have ideas, but keep not getting to actually drawing them, so I can point you just to some lions, children and ticks and show you a Põhja Konn (frog from North), that might or might not be a dragon.
