Still working on my never-ending quest to loosen up when it comes to sketching and painting.

Sorry for the photo quality but I snapped pics with my laptop camera after dark. No, I will never learn. :P Oh, and all the photos are "flipped" because of the way I photographed them. Too tired to flip them the correct way.

These are beautiful! The way Junebug is lying on Manou's lap--just perfect; I know *exactly* those baby poses. And the color and depth of the background, both in this one and in the one of Sprout. And the dogs! Just perfect.

Sprout seems *very* loose in her brushwork--no inhibition there :-)

I'm still learning about these watercolors. The shadows (and on contrast of the logs in the wood pile) were much more marked before the paint dried. I want to do an oil painting but am afraid of sucking. So slowly it goes with small sketches...
