Because we were on the road Wednesday, here is your glimpse of Egypt a few days late.
"Hey, look! There's the Nile!"

It is very Egypt, even though this is the first time I've seen adult dromedaries hauled about this way. :P

This is funny and also baffling in practical way: how did the camels fit in there?

It is hard to imagine how they got them all to sit, crowded in there like that.

What a great picture! There does seem to be more camel than should fit in that truck... How many heads do they normally have?

Brought to you by your local camel transport. :p
PS. They look quite serene and laid back. I'm guessing they're a lot less skittish than horses.

I don't think animals have a right to be skittish in Egypt. :P

I don't think any animals have a right to be skittish in Egypt. It is either bred or beaten out of them. :-/

I don't understand the brute beating. The people depend on the animals for their livelihood and yet treat them abominably. SOME people, not all....just too many.

Awful. Not to mention that you get so much more out of an animal if you treat it properly.

We were happily in the right place at the right time and had the camera at hand. :D
