Snippet Sunday

I didn't forget my snippet yesterday, but we had dinner guests. I cooked all day and went to bed immediately after they left.  I had plans to post today, but Mondays are very busy here.  I'm just basically posting to reference, for posterity, that I've been diligent with my sketching and searching out reference material.

And now I must go for I have a sick baby to nurse. To top it off, he is teething. Always seems to happen in conjunction, that teething and the ick.

You need an illness broom to sweep away all this illness. And a time turner to recover some time to draw at leisure.

Men to that. frigg likes to say that we're going to have some awesome immune systems, but when? And to what effect when we catch everything that comes our way. :P

We went through this period too, catching every lurgy, and it's worse when you're moving countries (which we were) because you're catching drastically new things all the time.

By the time your youngest is five, you won't be catching everything. ... It's a long time to wait, I know....
