Thankful

We had a small family dinner tonight of skillet-roasted turkey breast on a bed of onion and sweet potato, cornbread dressing, fruit relish (because I couldn't find cranberries or even my usual sub, here in Egypt, of lingonberries), walnut and dried cherry sourdough loaf, and pumpkin pie.

And among numerous, numerous, numerous other things, I'm very grateful for the nice big oven I had to cook it all in.

Hope all of you who celebrate Thanksgiving are having a wonderful day full of scrumptious food, community, laughter, and gratitude.

Hi glad your back. Yes I got a job at Walmart in the electronics dept. Because I have previous experience in electronic and retail sales I got a much higher pay! Seasonal right now but I'm thinking it will go permanent after the holidays. I'm really enjoying it. Katie is stopping school for now after this semester. She is so stressed and is having trouble in a couple of her major subjects. I think she got off to bad start and hasn't been able to catch up. She has six months left on her lease so she's going to stay in Lubbock and work more at Chili's and just chill till June.
So glad your move was smooth. I still believe God is in control. I know y'all are counting the days until you can be back in France for good. Have a wonderful Christmas. Love and hugs form Oklahoma.
