Critiques of the kittencat are not allowed. I don't believe she can take them, for she has very thin skin. Two trips to the vet in three days prove it. On Sunday night, I noticed that her hindmost stitches had pulled free, leaving her with a gaping hole. J took her to the vet on Monday, and he stapled her up. Today, noticed she had yet another gaping hole in the middle of the stitch line, just where we were sure that the skin had already healed together. So, more staples were in order. He went ahead and removed the stitches, but the staples will have to stay in another 10-15 days. I don't think we can start treating her fungus (I think it is ringworm, but I'm not sure of the translation) until the cut is healed, so that means her quarantine has to be prolonged. Poor kittencat.

And, thankfully, as the vet said, "The operation was expensive, but the 'service après vente' is included."

I've said it before, but I'll say it again -- she's lucky to have found you.

Why, yes, yes she is. Now if we can just continue with her lucky streak and find her a new home.
