I am in that space in my mind, where I have not been for many a year, where I start composing blog posts in my mind as I go about my day.

I compose and then I stop and wonder about what that says about me and where I am in life now.

That is all.

:P

I used to do that a lot. Back when I thought it meant something to post.

Now, I hardly post because people don't read them anyway.

But, fyi, it's always great to see you post.

Depression, whether short-term or long, does seem to make us have a tendency to isolate ourselves, doesn't it? Which, of course, makes it all worse.

Know that you are loved here on Dreamwidth. By many people. And, if you ever need encouragement or a ::HUG::, don't forget that we're here.

Real life is difficult sometimes.

These days I post only when something wells up and I have to get it out of me, or when thoughts keep whirling through my head and I have to organize them. And sometimes I think of a post and write part of it in my head and it never goes further. I post for myself, not others. Like keeping a journal.

Journaling is one of the things Julia Cameron recommends in The Artist's Way for recovering the art mojo. All that "welling" can clog the pipes, so best give it some place to drain. It doesn't have to be online. Old fashion paper works just as well. :-D In addition to the art biz, it's also beneficial to the human biz. It's a place to vent—or whatever—that doesn't involve yelling—or whatever—at another human being. It's a healthy practice all the way around.
