 The Admissions Process:

Operation on Thursday, started drawing the whole thing on Friday, during lulls in pain:

Home on Sunday afternoon, with a few rough patches:



Began PT on Tuesday and have 4 of my 15 sessions under my belt.  The swelling has gone down greatly.



Bed of a Recovering Artist, which, it should be noted, is not the same thing as, say, the bed of a recovering alcoholic.

A bag of frozen green peas makes the best ice pack ever. The red circle denotes why my husband thinks I shouldn't paint in bed. Spoilsport.

Today, I moved on from a walker to crutches.

And I will close this by saying how wonderfully well my husband and daughter are taking care of me.  I couldn't ask for two better caregivers.
