This is Bambo, where we went on Sunday. (There is a nice little beach off to the right of all those volcanic stones.) These three baby baobabs stand sentinel at the point of the islet facing Grande Terre.

Wonderful trees! I grew up thinking baobabs were evil because of Le Petit Prince, but I'm sure that's not true here on Earth.
