We're 30 weeks and 4 days today.  Want to take a guess as to our baby's gender?

[livejournal.com profile] frigg is good at guessing such* by the shape of a momma's tummy, so I took a pic for her and thought I'd open it up to a poll to see if anyone else shares her prowess.

Don't make fun of a pregnant lady in spandex! :P

_______
* We met up in Paris while I was pregnant with Sprout, and she did say "a girl," but she didn't want to declare herself 100% because she didn't think I was showing enough at that time. :P

Here are all of my donkeys, pinned and taped up together, in chronological order from top to bottom, left to right.

I should have waited until daytime to take a pic, but I'm impatient like that.

Since the whole point of this challenge is to choose an illustration style for a story I wrote for Julien, he gets final say on the styles I play with from here on out. However, if anyone wants to chuck their two cents into my cap, go for it. It will be interesting to see if tastes and opinions converge.

ETA: Just noticed the links aren't live in in the poll options. Tried to fix it, but I can no longer edit it. Sorry about that.

I have a friend in the south of France who has a bed and breakfast, and she would like to improve her google results to attract more tourists from around the world. She asked me how I would search for a place to stay on the net. While I know how I would search, I'm afraid I can't really give her unbiased feedback because I've lived in France since 2001.[Poll #1356551]<input ... >

If you (very kindly, I might add) answer the last question,  please don't use "le Manoir" in your search. I want to see if people can find my friend's site without knowing the name of her b&b.

Thanks so much!!!

It's already 1 p.m. and the only thing I've done today is my yoga routine. I guess I need to make a list. [Poll #1205552][Poll #1205552]

* The title is purely anticipatory.
** More about this later

I just finished the second draft of my second-ever WIP, To Be Undone, which involved a major rewrite from the first slapdash NaNo effort. The total word count is 69,010. Looks like I'll have some plumping up to do in my next draft. Never fear. It is in no danger of getting as [Poll #1029768]

How many of you consistently--please note the word and take it into consideration for your  answers--journal about something that is in no way* tied to yourself?

*"In no way" meaning that the entry, even if it is a link to a news article, does not address you, your ideas, your opinions or feelings in any way.

Since I don't have a nifty "poll" feature with my freebie account, we'll have to do this the old-fashioned way.

Which title is catchier:

  1. The Traveler's Daughter
  2. The Lily and the Tears
  3. The Sundered Stone

(If you've been following my WIP and have any other ideas, I'm open.  However, I know feedback might be limited since most haven't read more than a third of the book)
